I'M SAMANTHA REYNOLDS

Samantha is an award-winning author, writer and storyteller. Her creative work focuses on telling stories that empower people to think differently and motivate impactful change.

 

Samantha’s breadth of work spans the writing of an award-winning picture book, “Help Me Be Me,” and film screenplays to award-winning short films to acting with NY’s Signature Theatre Company Off-Broadway and CanStage in Toronto, and as a voice actor, lending her voice to a plethora of characters in many animated children’s television shows produced by Nelvana, CBC, Family Channel, ABC Kids and Treehouse TV.  

 

Samantha’s short films have won a student Emmy Award and the Cine Golden Eagle Award and her film scripts have been finalists in several contests, most recently in the Santa Barbara Screenplay Awards Diverse Writers Outreach. 

 

Currently, Samantha’s second picture book will be released summer 2026 and she is developing two animated television shows. She plans to direct her award winning short script in 2025. 

 

Samantha is an avid athlete, excelling in many sports and now professes to be a golf enthusiast. When not creating or outside enjoying nature, she can be found playing a board game with her family, watching NFL football, or playing her guitar.

 

Samantha received her MFA in film production from The University of Southern California, her certificate of completion from The Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theatre, and a BA in film from The University of British Columbia.
